Wednesday: Venture Capitalists

Wednesday morning gathered the money society, i.e. Finnish VCs to listen to Mr Blank's views on the role of venture capital and capitalists. A common theme emerged during the session; sometimes even more important than money would be mentoring and connections the VCs are able to provide. In Silicon Valley, realizing that the idealistic school boy might well be the next Steve Jobs, everyone grants a meeting to young people - why not in Finland as well! Putting his money where his mouth is, Mr Blank then spent the reminder of his working day with local startups.
